Mother-in-law’s New Steps

 My mother in law needed to replace her steps. First it was her hand railings, but only to find out the steps are deteriorating also. It’s been over 30-40 years. 

 So she ordered new steps & railing. It’s bigger & better than before. My husband broke down the old steps before the new cement could be laid down. The contractor was going to charger her over $600 for taking the steps down & out. That’s quite a bit of money.

It's quite a long process. Lots of heavy work. But my husband got it broke down. We were able to haul it out to a place that takes concrete. It was all ready for the contractor to come in and lay down the cement.

And 2 weeks after that she got her steps put in. Now she can't decorate it with any flowers or anything yet. It has to set, then it has to be sealed. So maybe next year she will be able to put all her flowers and/or other decorations up on them,

 They are huge. So much wider then the previous steps.
