Our good friend just graduated from medical school. Made a card special for her.

 I used a 8 x 11 sheet of cardstock, cut in half. Then picked my design, from Cricut Design Space. Made with my Cricut Joy

Here’s the birthday card I made for my nieces 16th birthday.I’m learning how to write on the inside now. 

 I got the Cricut Insert Cards from Amazon. This one is called the Cricut Joy- Princess Sampler, 12 ct.  

  I made the insert from my own glitter stock card paper. Just cut a 12x12 sheet down to size. 

I figured out how to write on the inside! Now I will have to write on the insides of my Father’s Day cards.

I got these Cricut Joy Insert Cards from Amazon. It’s called: Cricut Joy Insert Cards- Metallic Gray/Gold, 12 ct.

I made Mother’s Day Cards. Made by my Cricut Joy. The paper is from Cricut Insert Cards. I cut the insert from my own glitter card stock paper.

Mother-in-law’s New Steps

 My mother in law needed to replace her steps. First it was her hand railings, but only to find out the steps are deteriorating also. It’s been over 30-40 years. 

 So she ordered new steps & railing. It’s bigger & better than before. My husband broke down the old steps before the new cement could be laid down. The contractor was going to charger her over $600 for taking the steps down & out. That’s quite a bit of money.

It's quite a long process. Lots of heavy work. But my husband got it broke down. We were able to haul it out to a place that takes concrete. It was all ready for the contractor to come in and lay down the cement.

And 2 weeks after that she got her steps put in. Now she can't decorate it with any flowers or anything yet. It has to set, then it has to be sealed. So maybe next year she will be able to put all her flowers and/or other decorations up on them,

 They are huge. So much wider then the previous steps.

My bee, bird & butterfly garden is so beautiful.

My Bee Balm is blooming. This is the 1st time growing Bee balm, I have a few different colors. I hope they all bloom.

My flowers are coming along.

Here are my tulips. The ones that survived the squirrels.

I had to fill in a few holes again, are my flower bed. Squirrels did more digging. 

And check out my Strawberry bed. It's thriving!

The tulip bulbs will planted last fall, came up. The squirrels did dig up a few. 

 I got these from Brecks.com

In these pots I planted everything with seeds. I have moss roses in these 3 pots. 

In the front of the house I have planted Petunia seeds. All 4 pots have different colors of petunias.

I had bulbs also planted in the 4 pots in the front with tulips. But they rotted out. I didn’t realize they needed sunlight. So I had to dig all those bulbs up from the 4 pots. 

The seeds are coming up nicely.

After talking with my dad, I found out that I can call Brecks and tell them which tulips, flowers didn’t come up. And the should send me some new ones.

Showing little signs of life. 

I did add some of my compost a couple of weeks ago. The bottom of my compost bin was a nice shade of black gold. All the from last year. 

 I got a couple of buckets of alpaca poo to spread around. I though that the deer would not want to eat the flowers with that around. Seems to be working so far. I also spread some poo around my strawberry bed. Sure worked great last year.
